Passenger vessels at Filey Coble Landing

Find out about moorings and charges for passenger vessels at Filey Coble Landing.

We have withdrawn as a certifying authority and no longer licence passenger vessels.

Any vessel wishing to apply for a pleasure boat licence against the standards of the Small Commercial Vessel Codes of Practice or MGN 280 (M) should contact one of the approved Maritime and Coastguard Agency Small Vessel Certifying Authorities as listed in MIN514(M).

To apply to carry more than 12 passengers or operate from any UK port contact the Maritime and Coastguard Agency vessel classification page.

Licensed boatmen

We no longer issue boatman's certificates of competence.

Masters and seamen of vessels are required to meet the appropriate merchant shipping regulations relating to training and certification. Information and guidance is available from the Maritime and Coastguard Agency.

Moorings

These are on the slipway so your vessel must be capable of being launched and retrieved by yourself.
