Travelling in other areas of England

In other areas of England, you can generally only use your pass from 9.30am to 11pm on weekdays and at any time on weekends and bank holidays. However, you should check with the authorities of other areas before you travel.

Your pass is valid for off-peak bus travel in London. However, it does not give you the additional benefits of a London Freedom Pass because these are only for London residents.

Where you cannot use your pass

You cannot use your pass on:

  • long distance coach services
  • local park and ride services - however, discounted fares are available

You also generally cannot use your pass for community transport demand responsive services. However, a discounted fare will often be offered.
