Thornthwaite with Padside Parish - CGR

We are consulting residents of Thornthwaite with Padside parish and Dacre Parish about the future governance of Thornthwaite with Padside parish meeting. Thornwaite with Padside parish have asked the council to review their current boundaries and undertake a community governance review (CGR) to consider a merger with a neighbouring parish (more specifically Dacre parish) in order to ensure that parish level governance arrangements continue to operate as effectively as possible. A map showing the current parish boundary and the surrounding neighbouring parishes can be viewed below.

You are invited to have your say as part of this consultation. You can do this by completing the survey below, or you can request a paper copy of the survey by contacting the council on cgr@northyorks.gov.uk or by phone on 0300 131 2131.

The closing date for the survey is 22 December 2025.
