The Council Constitution explains the structure and workings of North Yorkshire Council, including all the rules and procedures under which the Council operates. It sets out who makes decisions and how they are made, and the rights of citizens to obtain information and to influence decisions.

We publish a forward plan of key decisions at least once a month as we are required to give 28 days notice of key decisions due to be taken.
