A historic 17th‑century inn with stunning Yorkshire Dales views

And here’s your chance to have an overnight stay at the inn, which has the accolade of being Britain’s highest public house, and to sample a delicious evening meal with breakfast included the following morning.

The inn, which sits at 1,732 feet (528 metres) above sea level, also has a packed programme of live music.

It hosts music events up to three times a week, including an acoustic open mic night every Thursday and ticketed live music in The Barn events space on Fridays or Saturdays.

You’ll be able to enjoy your stay in Tan Hill Inn’s traditional surroundings, which include exposed beams, stone-flagged floors and a welcoming fireplace.

The pub, which is dog-friendly, has comfortably decorated bedrooms with modern en‑suite facilities, television, Wi‑Fi and tea and coffee‑making facilities.

Outside the pub are two glamping domes that provide a quirky addition to the accommodation. Each dome has a king‑size bed, a TV and heating. Facilities are shared with the other dome as well as the inn’s bunk room.

You can also take home some merchandise, which includes a Tan Hill tankard to enjoy your favourite beer as well as Yorkshire‑made treats.
