Community litter pick

We can help community groups across North Yorkshire with voluntary clean-ups by providing equipment and advice.

We are happy to support local communities and groups who are keen to help improve the quality of their local area. If you’re interested in taking part in a community clean up, then thank you. Your help to keep North Yorkshire clean and tidy is very much appreciated.

We can help community groups with voluntary clean-ups by providing key equipment. We’re able to lend out equipment including hi-vis vests, litter pickers and bags for organised litter picking events.

In most cases we can also arrange for the clearance of any litter collected.

Before you start you should read the community litter pick safety advice on the Keep Britain Tidy website. You can also find information about community litter picks on the Clean Up UK website.
