Information for swimming pool users
Both swimming pools remain closed due to repairs needed to the swimming pool building. Our £1.2 million repair programme is underway and will continue in the coming months, including extra work to remove sealed asbestos from the roof space. We’d like to reassure all pool users and anyone else who previously accessed the building that the sealed asbestos hasn’t posed a risk to you.
We thank you for your ongoing patience and would like to remind customers that they can use pool facilities at our neighbouring Active North Yorkshire sites.
The gym, class studio, sauna and steam room remain open as normal. The pool café is also open, but will close from Tuesday 7 April until further notice to allow us to prepare for the removal of the sealed asbestos.
