Information for swimming pool users
Both swimming pools remain closed due to repairs needed to the swimming pool building. Our £1.2 million repair programme is underway, but the recent discovery of sealed asbestos in the roof space means extra work is required so that it can be removed safely. We’d like to reassure all pool users and anyone else who previously accessed the building that the sealed asbestos hasn’t posed a risk to you.
We thank you for your ongoing patience and would like to remind customers that they can use pool facilities at our neighbouring Active North Yorkshire sites.
The café, gym, class studio, sauna and steam room remain open as normal.
