Swimming lessons for children in the Hambleton area

Learning to swim is a fun way for your children to increase their overall fitness, boost confidence and make new friends!

We have a wide range of fun and all-inclusive lessons to encourage you to take that first step in the pool. You will be splashing around in no time!

Why not pop in for a chat about how to get started and take the plunge today?

Lessons are available at:

  • Bedale Leisure and Wellbeing Hub
  • Northallerton Leisure and Wellbeing Hub
  • Stokesley Leisure and Wellbeing Hub
  • Thirsk and Sowerby Leisure and Wellbeing Hub

We run lessons Monday to Saturday at various times during the day and they run all year round except for the Christmas holidays.

With the focus on fun and enjoyment, all our swimmers progress faster with greater confidence and with increased self-belief.

All our lessons for youngsters are designed around the Swim England Learn to Swim framework to help you understand and keep track of your child’s progress and to keep them motivated as they progress forward.

Information about the Swim England Learn to Swim framework can be found on their website.

Our experienced and fully qualified teachers go through full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks for your full peace of mind and the safety of your children.

We offer stage awards in competitive swimming and rookie lifesaving. Please ask us for more information on Our Royal Life Saving Society rookie lifeguard programme, which helps to give your child all the skills they need to be fully confident in the pool or the sea.
