Ducklings - pre-school swimming lessons

Our Ducklings classes are the perfect way for young children to start learning to swim on their own. These fun and supportive sessions help build water confidence and independence, preparing children for the next stage in their swimming journey. Parents do not get into the water during these sessions.

Ducklings is part of the Swim England Pre-School Framework and is ideal for children aged 3 to 4 years old who can follow simple instructions and move around on their own.

In these lessons, children begin to develop key swimming skills in a safe and encouraging environment. The sessions are led by a qualified swimming teacher who is in the water with the children. Group sizes are kept small, with a maximum of six children per class, so each child gets plenty of attention and support.

Ducklings lessons run all year round apart from a two week break at Christmas. Sessions take place on:

• Tuesdays between 11am and 11:30am and between 11:30am and midday
• Thursdays, between 10am and 10:30am, 10:30am and 11am and between 11am and 11:30am
