You may need to order a new or replacement rubbish or recycling bin if:
- you have moved into a property and there are no bins on site
- your bin is missing, lost or stolen
- you are a holiday let owner and your property is changing from Business Rates to Council Tax rated
Do not order a new or replacement rubbish or recycling bin if:
- you live in a communal property with shared bins - your landlord or management company need to request one for you (using this form)
- you have recently moved into a new build or newly-converted property without a bin - this must be done by the developer, or you must have spoken to the developer before submitting a request
Fees and charges
There is a £35 administration charge for a replacement bin. You can pay this online.
If your bin was lost in our collection vehicle, we will replace it free of charge. We will leave a postcard at your property to tell you what happened and we will automatically arrange for a bin to be delivered. You do not need to contact us to request a replacement bin.
Before you start
- Please wait 48 hours before reporting - sometimes bins can be taken accidentally and later returned.
- You will need a debit or credit card if you are making a payment
- We will deliver your new bin within 15 working days
- Your new bin may be a different colour

If you live in Harrogate, Richmond or Hambleton you can pick up new and replacement boxes and bags in your local area. You cannot order them online.

Cancelling a new or replacement bin order
We will only refund the administration charge if an order is cancelled before we have delivered a bin.
