  • Monday: 3pm to 5pm
  • Tuesday: 10am to 12noon
  • Wednesday: 2pm to 4pm
  • Thursday: closed
  • Friday: 2pm to 4pm
  • Saturday 10am to 12noon
  • Sunday: closed

Finding the library, parking and access

The library is in the village hall, which is located down West Street, off the main road. Gargrave is served by a regular bus service and a nearby train station.

Plenty of parking is available next to the village hall with further parking in the village car park, just over the road from the library. The library has disabled access and all areas are accessible to wheelchairs.

Items available from the library

You can borrow a range of books for all ages in a variety of formats, including large print and audio. Music CDs, DVDs and foreign language titles are also available for loan, as well as micro:bits. You can request any item that is not immediately available.

Coffee mornings

Gargrave and Malhamdale Community Library holds occasional coffee mornings on Saturday mornings in Gargrave Village Hall. See the notice board for details.
