Notice of application for a premises licence

Premises: Rievaulx Terrace, Helmsley, YO62 5LD

Notice is given that English Heritage Trust has applied to North Yorkshire Council Licensing Authority for a premises licence under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003.

The licensable activities are:

Sale of alcohol daily 10am to 5.30pm On and Off supplies
Pre-booked events or private hires 10am to 11pm restricted to a maximum of 30 days per year

Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application must give notice in writing to North Yorkshire Council, Licensing Department, Ryedale House, Old Malton Road, Malton YO17 7HH or by email to licensing.east@northyorks.gov.uk. Representations must be received by Thursday 9 July 2026.

The application record and register may be viewed during normal office hours at the above address.

It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is up to level 5 on the standard scale (£5000).

Minor variation of the premises licence

Premises: Bay Horse Inn, 8 Market Place, Pickering, YO18 7AA

Notice is hereby given that Punch Taverns Limited has applied to North Yorkshire Council in respect of Bay Horse Inn, 8 Market Place, Pickering, YO18 7AA for the grant of a minor variation of the premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to permit the following:

This is an application to vary the layout and design of the premises in accordance with the submitted plan (drawing no. 1512-L1A), which reflects some fixed seating changes.

The operating times, licensable activities and conditions authorised by the existing premises licence to remain unchanged.
