The purpose of this map is to display all of the sites that were submitted as part of the call for sites process undertaken by us in 2017, together with planning, environmental and archaeological constraints that will be taken into consideration when assessing site suitability.

The sites include land that has been proposed for the following use:

  • community facilities
  • housing
  • employment
  • mixed use
  • service families accommodation (SFA)
  • town centre
  • currently not developable

Timescales

The map also includes site deliverability time scales shown as:

  • 1 to 5 years
  • 6 to 10 years
  • 11 to 15 years
  • discounted

Using the map

The map is fully interactive. Zoom into a particular site or set of sites and turn the constraints layers on/off to see what factors affect them.

For details on how to use the map please click on the information button which is located just above the map on the right-hand side in the green panel.

Terms of use - the map and its contents are indicative and have been issued for information and reference purposes only to support the Strategic Housing and Employment Land Availability Assessment.
