Our Shared Lives service matches an adult or young person who has long-term support needs with a host family. The family then supports the person in their own home, either through regular day visits, day and overnight visits, or the person may move into the family home.
The host family, known as Shared Lives carers, have different life experiences and backgrounds. The scheme provides training and ongoing support to carers.
