Disruption to facilities - 3 and 4 October

Due to the Para Gala taking place on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October 2026, there will be some disruption to our facilities:

  • only 2 lanes will be open in the main pool at the following times: Saturday from 3.15pm to 6.15pm, and Sunday from 9am to 2pm
  • all pools closed from 1pm on Sunday
  • the sauna/steam room will be closed from 1pm on Sunday

Please note that the car park will be busier than usual on both days.

Changes to Active North Yorkshire this summer

This summer, we are introducing a number of changes across Active North Yorkshire to create a simpler, clearer and more consistent experience across all sites. These include simplifying our membership options, moving to a new, single booking system and updating the names of our swim sessions and group exercise classes so they are easier to understand when booking.

Read answers to frequently asked questions about what these changes mean for you, including timelines, new options and how your current membership may be affected.
