Swimming lessons at Harrogate Leisure and Wellbeing Hub

We have a range of swimming lessons on offer, whatever your age or ability:

Swimming lessons are available every day of the week in all of our fully heated indoor pools. For those wishing to make waves immediately, one-to-one lessons are available as well as intensive courses during the holiday periods. Our lessons run for 50 weeks of the year with a short break over the Christmas period.

Diving lessons at Harrogate Leisure and Wellbeing Hub

With Active North Yorkshire, taking up diving is easy and we can help you get started. Lessons start at the side of the pool and move to the diving boards when confidence levels grow.

Our qualified instructors follow the Swim England Diving Awards scheme. There are five levels of progression from beginner all the way to club-level diving skills. Information about the Swim England Diving Awards Scheme can be found on their website.

Diving lessons for children

These take place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and on Sundays. For your child to start diving lessons they need to be able to swim 25 metres and be confident in deep water without wearing goggles.

We also offer diving lessons for children with SEND requirements on Thursdays.

Lessons are 30 minutes long and are paid for by direct debit at cost of £31.20 per month.

Diving lessons for adults and over 16s

These take place on Tuesday evenings and cost £9.50 for an hour-long lesson.

Our diving lessons run for 50 weeks of the year with a short break over the Christmas period. We also offer lessons for divers with a disability.

Contact us to find out more and book your lesson.
