Our leisure and wellbeing hubs offer a variety of sessions to support your lifestyle and overall wellbeing.

Lifestyle and wellbeing sessions in the Hambleton area

In the Hambleton area we offer lifestyle and wellbeing sessions to help you lose weight, reduce your risk of falling or take part in inclusive sports. At our Northallerton Leisure and Wellbeing Hub we also have a fantastic wellbeing suite.

Healthy You

Healthy You is our free service designed to support you or you and your family to help you meet your lifestyle goals, which might be to be more active, eat better, or manage your weight.

A team of friendly, qualified Healthy You advisors will be there every step of the way through a combination of options, including one-to-one, group, online, telephone and face-to-face support.

Strong and steady sessions

Strong and Steady sessions are designed for individuals with mobility challenges, particularly those aged 65 and above, as well as those who can only walk short distances. Our sessions aim to improve strength and balance to help people feel more confident and stable when walking.

Sessions take place at:

  • Northallerton Leisure and Wellbeing Hub on Thursdays between 1pm and 1:45pm and between 2pm and 2:45pm
  • Stokesley Leisure and Wellbeing Hub on Tuesdays between 10:30am and 11:15am
  • Thirsk and Sowerby Leisure and Wellbeing Hub on Tuesdays between 1pm and 1:45pm

Wellbeing suite at Northallerton Leisure and Wellbeing Hub

If you have ever felt intimidated or uncomfortable in a gym or fitness environment then our wellbeing suite at Northallerton Leisure and Wellbeing Hub is for you.

Our power-assisted exercise technology provides a helping hand in a low-impact, full-body workout circuit. These machines are safe for all age groups and abilities, making them ideal for those living with long-term health conditions and poor mobility.

The wellbeing suite offers easily accessible exercise in an environment supported by knowledgeable staff and a like-minded community. Our staff are there to help, offering every member valuable and continued one-to-one advice. This encourages regular participation in exercise, helping you achieve quick, safe, and effective results while improving your confidence levels. It will also help you with the five elements of healthy ageing:

  • aerobic fitness
  • muscular strength
  • balance
  • flexibility
  • social wellbeing

To use the wellbeing suite you will need our wellbeing membership package which offers great value for money, flexibility and choice, making your health and fitness goals both affordable and achievable.

As well as unlimited access to the wellbeing suite, membership also includes:
