General admission
To ensure everyone's safety:
- customers are advised not to swim if you have eaten a meal in the last hour
- follow the lifeguards instructions, they want you to have a great swim in safety
- please inform the lifeguards if you have any medical condition that may compromise your safety or that of other swimmers before entering the pool
- you should not enter the pool if you have experienced sickness or diarrhoea symptoms in the last 48 hours, or 14 days if diagnosed by a GP with cryptosporidium
- appropriate swimwear must be worn at all times, swimwear which is not made from chlorine-resistant materials may be damaged:
- swimming trunks or shorts
- knee length shorts including board shorts
- bikinis or tankinis
- swimming costumes
- lycra leggings, including below the knee ones
- close-fitting short and long-sleeve t-shirts
- swim dresses
- we recommend weak or non-swimmers wear close-fitting swimwear, such as swimming trunks or full swimsuits to help their learning
- inappropriate swimwear must not be worn in the pool unless approved by management for sensitivity or other reasons:
- underwear
- any garment with obscene of offensive pictures of slogans
- denim or heavy garments, including cotton leggings
- long flowing clothes and baggy t-shirts
- please shower and use the toilet facilities before swimming
Children
To ensure everyone's safety:
- children under the age of eight must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult (aged 16 or over)
- a responsible adult can supervise a maximum of two children
- adults should maintain a constant watch over the children and remain in close contact with weak or non-swimmers
- appropriate swimwear must be worn at all times:
- swimming trunks or shorts
- bikinis or tankinis
- swimming costumes
- float suits or neoprene float jackets
- knee and elbow length suits
- children who are not yet toilet trained must wear swim nappies - these are available for purchase at reception
