Frequently asked questions about the change from Zest Leisure to Active North Yorkshire

From Tuesday 1 July 2025, the leisure centres in the former Hambleton district will make the full brand change from the current operating name Zest leisure to our new brand Active North Yorkshire.

This will affect the following sites:

  • Bedale Leisure Centre
  • Northallerton Leisure Centre
  • Stokesley Leisure Centre
  • Thirsk and Sowerby Leisure Centre

As a customer of these sites, there are a few things you will need to know before the changeover. We have created a set of frequently asked questions to answer your queries and highlight how you may be affected.

We will keep these frequently asked questions updated as we move forward throughout the changeover. However, if you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to speak to a member of our team who will do their best to help you.

Our colleagues are doing their best to ensure this transition is as smooth as possible. We thank you for your patience and for treating them with the kindness they deserve during this time.
