Musical instruments

You can recycle musical instruments, free of charge, at all household waste recycling centres.

If your musical instrument is in a usable condition you can take it for reuse at all our sites. If it is unusable, depending on what it's made from, it should be placed in either the scrap metal or wood skip.

Pianos are accepted at all sites. If your piano is in a usable condition you can take it for reuse. If it is unusable please break it up and place it in the wood skip.

Local charity shops, reuse organisations and reuse websites are great places to donate unwanted items.

You can also donate your instruments to the Nucleo Project charity.
