Records, DVDs, CDs and tapes

You can take records, DVDs, CDs and tapes, free of charge, to all household waste recycling centres.

If your record, DVD, CD, video or audio tape is usable you can take it to the reuse area at all our sites. If it is unusable it can be placed in the waste for energy recovery skip at all our sites.

West Harrogate, Leeming and Harrogate Stonefall household waste recycling centres also have PreCycle banks for readable books, playable computer games and playable CD, DVDs and Blue-Rays.

Local charity shops, reuse organisations and reuse websites are great places to donate unwanted items.
