Schools in North Yorkshire
If a child or young person's need cannot be met in a mainstream school or setting with the involvement of the SEND hubs, they may require a special school place. Except in very rare circumstances, special schools take pupils with an education, health and care plan (EHCP).
Special schools
There are seven maintained special schools and three special academies in North Yorkshire. You can find and compare schools near you here. - Springwater School – severe and/or complex learning needs and post-16 provision
