The Green Construction Skills Village built on the existing success of the Construction Skills Village that has been operating in Scarborough since 2015.
Derelict buildings at High Eastfield Farm were renovated to provide bespoke training, learning and office space, to upskill local people in emerging technologies and green construction skills.
The new facility was formally opened in January 2023 and will deliver a variety of new level 3 to level 6 qualifications and provide opportunities for people to secure apprenticeships and new skilled careers with local businesses.
