Direct Debit

We are currently in the process of moving our revenues and benefits databases. During this time, our systems are closed down and we are therefore unable to set up any new Direct Debit instructions.

We would ask that you temporarily make payments by other methods as detailed on the back of your most recently issued bill. One option is to pay your council tax online each month.

Our online Direct Debit form will be available again from 23 June 2025.

Post Office and PayPoint

You can pay at any Post Office or PayPoint outlet using a council tax bill that has a barcode on it. Post Offices will accept cash, cheques and debit or credit cards up to a value of £999.

Standing order / BACS / internet banking

To set up payment through a standing order / BACS you will need your nine digit council tax account reference shown on your bill and the council's bank account details:
