Do I need a licence?
You must have a licence if you are renting out a large house in multiple occupation. Your property is defined as a large house in multiple occupation if all of the following apply:
- the property is rented out to five or more people who form more than one household
- the tenants share toilet, bathroom or kitchen facilities
How much will it cost?
The costs for a new five year licence are:
