Filey Food Festival - April, June, August and October
Don't miss the opportunity to indulge in a range of local produce and drink, as well as international street food from countries such as Greece, Thailand, Spain, India, Mexico and Italy. Admission is free. Come join the celebrations on Saturday and Sunday.
The event takes place four times across the year: 4 and 5 April, 6 and 7 June, 8 and 9 August, and 10 and 11 October. For details visit the Filey Evron Centre website.
Filey Kite Festival - Friday 18 September to Sunday 20 September
The spectacular Filey Kite Festival takes place on Friday 18 to Sunday 20 September which showcases some of the world’s largest and most colourful kites. The skies over Filey Brigg are transformed into a canvas of vibrant kites, which in previous years has included designs depicting clownfish, huge pandas, snakes and even giant octopuses! Moonlight on the Lake - Friday 23 October and Saturday 24 October
On Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October, this is a magical evening under the stars by the shimmering lake in Peasholm Park, Scarborough. Staged by Animated Objects and ourselves, this is an opportunity for people to come and explore the park as the night draws in. There’ll be illuminated lanterns and dragon boats with the park’s oriental-themed island painted in colourful lights to create magical reflections in the water as visitors make their way around the lake.
