Located about 2.5 miles to the south of Harrogate, this site comprises seven acres of mixed deciduous woodland.

Access and footpaths

Access can be gained off Malthouse Lane or via the public right of way off Westminster Crescent, Burn Bridge. The site runs steeply from south-east to the north-west, with an overall fall of about 15-20m between the northern and southern boundary. The wood is characteristically wet at its lowest points during winter.
