Our website and telephone payment systems are unavailable between 9am and 2pm on Sunday 19 May. You will not be able to pay for any council services on our website or over the phone during this time.
Guest parking permits are available to residents, guest houses and hotels in certain residential zones.
Hotels or guest houses with more than 60 guest rooms are expected to provide their own parking.
Price
- book of 25 guest permit scratch cards: £6.25 (25p per permit)
This is half price for residents if you can prove any of the following:
- you are over 60 years old
- you are registered as disabled
- you are in receipt of Income Support or Jobseekers Allowance
Valid for
A book of guest permits is valid for one year after it's issued to you.
Where you can use it
It's only valid in certain areas where the resident has a valid resident parking permit.
How to apply
Apply for a guest permit online
You can apply in person at the Civic Centre in Harrogate where one of our customer service advisors can help you complete the online form.
Proof required
You will need:
- a copy of your council tax bill
- a copy of your driving licence showing the address you are applying for
