Minibus service

Information about our accessible minibuses which are available for use by various groups outside of our peak hours.

We can offer this service to other public sector organisations, certain charitable bodies, maintained schools and community groups and associations. This service is available Monday to Friday between 9.45am and 2.30pm.

What are the benefits of using our service?

Our fleet of minibuses can seat up to 16 passengers so that everyone can travel together. The vehicles are designed so that passengers who have mobility difficulties can access them safely and easily. Our vehicles are maintained to the highest standard.

Our drivers are trained to a high standard:

  • all staff are disclosure and barring service checked to an enhanced level
  • all drivers take practical ability tests before being appointed
  • all drivers are minibus driver awareness scheme trained

What is the minibus driver awareness scheme?

We can provide minibus driver awareness training courses to schools, community groups and certain charitable bodies.

The scheme offers classroom-based theory training and an on-road driving assessment for minibus drivers.

This training is provided by our driver assessor trainers.
