These two purpose-built care and support hubs are part of a pioneering programme to build up to five new care and support hubs in North Yorkshire to help meet the growing and changing needs of our community.
The hubs have been designed to provide:
- specialist residential dementia care to meet the needs of people living with advanced dementia and other specialist requirements
- specialist support for people who are being discharged from hospital for short-term rehabilitation, or to avoid hospital admissions in the first place
The hubs will mainly support older people but will also have the flexibility to help working-age adults with similar needs.
