This is an artist’s sketch to illustrate how the new street arrangement could look. The aim of this design is to improve and enhance the space for pedestrians while they enjoy the view of the harbour or are waiting for the swing bridge to open.

New seating would be added and the area repaved. Space would be left in the centre for a Christmas tree, and the existing ‘Bridgender’ sculpture would be retained. A new information board would also be installed.
The existing telecom / electrical junction cabinets would be rearranged to make better use of the space.
