What personal information do we collect?
To assess housing need, we will need to use and collect your personal data. This may include the following:
- date of birth
- contact details (telephone number and/or email address)
- financial information
- local connection details
Why do we collect your personal information?
We collect your information for the following purposes:
- to assist in planning new developments and services and reviewing current applications with identified demand
- to assess the housing demand in a specific area
- to ensure we deliver the right type and tenure housing to meet the identified need
Who do we obtain your information from?
We collect your information via your completion of a housing need survey form.
Who do we share this information with?
We will share a summary of your information including family composition, current housing and future need with approved providers on specific projects. Personally identifiable information, which could identify an individual, will not be shared. The information may be included within a community involvement statement to support a planning application submitted to the council.
