We provide day support services for adults with high or complex needs, including autism and learning disabilities.
We provide a number of day support services across the region. A range of activities and support are offered as part of a formal care plan. Further details about these services are shown in the list below.
In order to access a day support service, you will usually need to have a social care needs assessment. Visit our get help and support with adult social care page for details about how to get your needs assessed.
We are experiencing high levels of demand, which means we may not be able to arrange an assessment as quickly as we would like. If you have contacted us and are waiting for a response, please be assured that we have received your information and will be in touch with you as soon as possible.
If you, or someone you care for, already receive help from adult social care services, please contact your care co-ordinator if you think you may benefit from this service.

We also work with a network of independent community based support providers who offer a range of diverse day opportunities for people with an assessed need.
There is a charge for attending day services and for any transport required.
You may be eligible for financial support from us to help pay for these services. You might however have to pay for this service yourself depending on the amount of savings and / or financial assets that you have.
