Council Tax, rates and benefits systems changes
We've upgraded our Council Tax, business rates and Housing Benefits systems and added better and improved self-service features for all our customers.
What you need to do if you receive a final notice for Council Tax.
Your council tax is now overdue and you need to pay us the full amount for the rest of the year to avoid further action.
We send final notices when you have already had two reminders during the financial year, and paid them, but have fallen into arrears for a third time or have failed to bring your account up to date following another notice.
If you don't pay or contact us at this stage, you will be sent a Magistrates Court summons. This will add extra costs to your Council Tax account.
