The Recreation Ground at Pateley Bridge

Find out about facilities offered by the Recreation Ground, from band concerts to daffodil displays.

Open all year round, this area of open green space with many mature trees runs alongside the River Nidd, where you will see a wonderful array of daffodils in spring. There are small areas of shrub plantings and the cenotaph has seasonal bedding planted round it throughout the year.

Bands perform in the bandstand on some Sunday afternoons from May to the beginning of September. It is free to listen to the bands, but they may take a collection on the day to help with their expenses,

Visitor information

The recreation ground is on the B6265 between Bewerley and Pateley Bridge, HG3 5HQ.

Disabled access is via the main entrance. Disabled toilets are to the right of the main entrance. There are tarmac footpaths to the play area and bowling green, as well as alongside the river.
