The ’Building Pride in our Places’ programme opened to applications in April 2023 and closed to new applications in February 2024.

Over £4million has now been committed to a wide range of projects involving:

• investments in public realm and accessibility improvements to town centres, village centres and high streets
• enhancements to new and existing cultural, historic and heritage assets, that make up North Yorkshire’s cultural heritage offer
• support for community-based arts, cultural and creative programmes, activities, and events
• feasibility studies to support the development of, for example, regeneration schemes, the visitor economy, and facilities to support the local creative industries
