Farm sustainability programme

The farm sustainability programme aims to support farm businesses to become more financially and environmentally sustainable.  A consortium led by NFU Energy currently provides 35 farms with tailored assessments offering practical, actionable recommendations to help lower greenhouse gas emissions and promote long-term economic resilience. Information on NFU Energy can be found by visiting their website.

This programme is closed to new applications.  Case studies will be shared on our website once the assessments have been completed. Please visit our approved projects page to see all the organisations and projects funded by UKSPF in North Yorkshire.

The York & North Yorkshire Growth Hub has specialist Business Relationship Managers who can offer free-of-charge business support and advice to businesses working in Agriculture and Farming (Nick White) and/or businesses wanting to become more environmentally sustainable and reduce their energy costs (Jack Colding). You can get in touch with either Nick or Jack by emailing support@ynygrowthhub.com or calling 0800 246 5045.
