We are consulting on a proposal to build a mini roundabout and introduce waiting restrictions on the Carleton New Road/ Carleton Road/Brookland junction in Skipton. This is part of the development of Wyvern Park under Section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and Section 64 of the Highways Act 1980.
The proposed mini roundabout and waiting restrictions are considered the most effective way of improving:
- access from Brooklands
- the distribution of traffic and reducing speeds on Carleton Road
