Early Help

The Children and Families - Early Help work alongside other services in the community to provide one-to-one and group based interventions to support children, young people, and their families. More information on early help can be found on the North Yorkshire Safeguarding Children Partnership website.

Their offer includes:

  • one-to-one support for children, young people and families
  • evidence based interventions through a blended approach of virtual and small group activities for children, young people and families
  • parenting support

There are also dedicated Early Help Consultants who work alongside schools to ensure support is in place.

Parenting courses

There are also free online courses for parents which are available in a number of different languages.

To access the courses please register on the inourplace website and enter the access code NYFAMILIES. These free courses are also available to host families.

Early Help alongside a number of partner agencies run online workshops and masterclasses which are available on the Partnership website.
