Enjoy the beauty of the Dales - win a day out to remember

The landscapes are famed around the world, and here is your chance to explore the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales first-hand.

We have teamed up with Muddy Boots Walking Holidays to offer one lucky winner the chance to have a full day’s private guided walk for up to six people in the Dales.

The walk, which will last for up to eight hours and usually costs £175, can be tailored to make the route as demanding or as leisurely as you would like and is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the history and geography of the Yorkshire Dales.

Your guided walk will be led by Muddy Boots’ co-founder, Matt Coppin, who is a qualified hiking guide and has travelled across the world to destinations including Patagonia and National Parks in the USA to pursue his love of hiking.

Matt will be able to arrange a guided walk tailored to your needs and will take into account requests for a specific location in the Dales, as well as the difficulty and duration of the walk.

He set up Muddy Boots Walking Holidays with his wife, Helen, after the couple moved back to the North of England in 2013 after living in London. Helen is also an experienced hiker after travelling around the world and across the United Kingdom.

After their move away from the capital, the couple were initially based in Wensleydale before moving to Kirkby Lonsdale, which is an ideal base to co-ordinate their walks in the Yorkshire Dales as well as the Lake District.
