Market fees
The following table shows the fees for each market per day. These fees apply to traditional bench stalls, walk-in stalls, gazebos and mobiles (trailer or vehicle-based).
The market fees are based on the measurement of the pitch frontage, with pitches having a minimum width of four metres (13 feet). Frontage over four metres is charged per 0.5 metre.

Casual traders
You must be 16 or over to apply for a market pitch.
The council reserves the right to refuse admission to the market to casual traders who offer goods or services which in the opinion of the Market Officer upsets the balance of trading already in existence for these types of goods.
To guarantee a pitch to trade on the market, applications need to be submitted at least two working days before market day.
Once your details have been submitted, please wait for a confirmation email before turning up to trade.
- you must bring original documents to show that you have the right to live and work in the UK, for example passport, birth certificate, share code
Before attending the market, please e-mail us:

You cannot have pitch at our market if you do not provide these documents before the date of your enquiry.
