The development plan for the Harrogate district comprises the following:
- the Harrogate district Local Plan 2014-2035 (adopted March 2020)
- made neighbourhood plans
- minerals and waste plans
- New Settlement (Maltkiln) Development Plan (pdf / 1 MB)
A neighbourhood plan is made following the formal consultation process, examination and approval at a referendum. The following neighbourhood plans have been made:
- Otley Neighbourhood Plan 2018 to 2028 (made March 2020)
- Pannal and Burn Bridge Neighbourhood Plan 2021 to 2035 (Made November 2024)
- Ripon Neighbourhood Plan to 2030 (made April 2019)
- Roecliffe and Westwick Neighbourhood Plan 2019 to 2032 (made May 2022)
