Running from Monday 16 to Friday 20 June, this brand new week-long programme of free events offers something for businesses of all sizes and sectors. From keynote talks and practical workshops to tailored support and drop-in advice, it’s a unique opportunity to connect, learn and grow.

Our executive member for open to business, Cllr Mark Crane said: “We’re proud to host our first North Yorkshire Business Week. It’s about celebrating local enterprise, bringing people together, and providing the tools and knowledge to help businesses thrive.”

The week starts on Monday 16 June with a special launch event at Harrogate Convention Centre. Speakers include Paul Cogan, Group Finance and Resources Director at Bettys & Taylors, and Mark Roberts, an award-winning entrepreneur and angel investor.

The event also includes a business support expo, interactive panel question and answer sessions and networking opportunities.

Other highlights during the week include sector-specific events - such as a focus on maritime and renewables industries at Scarborough Spa on Thursday 19 June as well as practical workshops and drop-in sessions across topics like innovation, finance, marketing and growth.
